Meet Evan!
Evan is still in Puerto Rico, though his littermate was adopted as a puppy back in March 2022. When Evan first came into rescue as a puppy, he had a broken femur, so we gave him time to heal before planning his flight. During his recovery, he stayed with a friend of the rescue who boards dogs, and he made such a great impression that they loved having him around—he became the perfect greeter for all the dogs arriving!
Now, it’s time for Evan to find his own loving home. He’s known to be a total couch potato and adores everyone he meets. Evan has also been a great friend and coach to many of the dogs we’ve adopted out the past 2 years, helping them with their social skills along the way. Evan is a laid back island boy who has been waiting for his turn to find a forever home in the US.  He is good with other dogs, children and doesn't bother cats.  He is 2 years old, 50 lbs, neutered and current on vaccines.  His chill, laid back island vibe would be a perfect addition to your pack...or better yet start a pack!  Evan is a handsome black lab mix ready to hit trails or chill by your side.  If he sounds like the dog for you, please complete our application today.
