Shay came to us from St. Croix where she was used for breeding over and over again. When she wasn’t useful they left her chained to die. She was emaciated and eating dirt and rocks.  She is now in Virginia and learning to enjoy the good life!  She is approx 5 years old, 46 lbs, spayed and current on vaccines.  Shay is a couch potato at heart who LOVES belly rubs but is alos up for an easy-going adventures.  She walks nicely on a leash and is house trained.  She happily lives with other respectful dogs and older children.  This island girl is finally hoping to find her forever home where she gets lots of love and attention, a soft warm bed and full belly.   If you are looking for a laid back companion to while away the days with, Shay is your girl.  Please submit an application to meet her today.
